· Meeting started at 9:05am on the phone conference bridge

1.) JoAnn announced the hiring of Alan Frager as the Communications Analyst III position that will work with all the LAMC partners on moving this network forward. He will officially start at the University on February 28th, 2000.
2.) Phil announced that the SNA connection between Jewish and ULH was waiting on ULH to do a software upgrade to their switch and then they would continue testing the connection.
3.) Alex announced that NH had received their new corporate firewall. Once they have this configured to their meet their needs, they will take the old firewall and reconfigure it to use between them and LAMC. There is no timeline for NH to come onto LAMCnet
4.) I later talked to Bob Dooley. He told me that ULH and JHHS
were ready to do their testing on the SNA link between them. They have
to wait a couple of weeks before testing, because they will only test during
PM time on the IBM Mainframe at JHHS.
