· Meeting started at 9:00am on the phone conference bridge

· Members Present: Mike Dyre (U of L), Bob Dooley (UMC), Alex Felinski (Norton),  Kevin Shively (U of L), Dave Cox (U of L)
 

1.)  Norton’s is not yet ready to hook up to the network, because of some equipment placement (Firewalls), and some internal policies and procedures

2.)  Bob had some concerns about the timeline for everyone being hooked up to the network. He has some routers that are not Y2K Compliant, and needs to know if he has to replace them or will everyone be connected before year’s end.

3.)  Alex did not have a definitive time as to when Norton would be ready to hook into LAMC’s network.

4.)  Dave passed along a message from Kevin Condit stating that he would no longer attend the LAMC technical meetings as the physical network he was charged with installing is finished. If any new members are connected and the physical network has to be extended to other entities, Kevin will start attending the meetings again.
